Who is responsible

What we collect

• Account details — your name, email address and password (stored only as a cryptographic hash, never in readable form).
• Order details — the books you bought, the price, your billing country and any tax number you supply.
• Payment details — handled entirely by Stripe and PayPal. We receive only a confirmation and the last four digits of the card. Your full card number never reaches our servers.
• Technical data — IP address, browser and pages visited, used to keep the site secure and working.

Why we use it

To deliver the books you bought and keep them available in your library; to take payment and issue refunds; to send order confirmations and download links; to meet accounting and tax obligations; and to prevent fraud. We send marketing email only if you opt in, and every such email has an unsubscribe link.

Who we share it with

Only with the services needed to run the store: Stripe and PayPal (payment processing), Hostinger (hosting), and our email delivery provider. Each processes data on our instructions. We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

Where it is stored

The site is hosted in India (Mumbai). Our payment providers process data in their own regions. Where data leaves your country, it is protected by the contractual safeguards those providers have in place.

How long we keep it

Order and invoice records are kept for as long as UAE tax law requires (currently five years). Your account and library are kept until you ask us to delete them.

Cookies

We use only what the store needs: a cookie that remembers what is in your bag, one that keeps you logged in, and a cache cookie. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the data we hold, correct it, delete it, or send you a copy. Email [SUPPORT EMAIL] and we will respond within 30 days. Deleting your account also removes access to books you have bought, so download anything you want to keep first.
